Our goal is to provide guitar and bass students, of all ages and levels with the technical skills and knowledge to meet their personal goals.

Whether you are looking to pursue a career in music or to play for recreation, we have a course for you. We offer courses in a number of different styles and genres, including R&B, folk, rock, and jazz. All classes are structured to make your learning experience as simple and enjoyable as possible.

Kids & Teens

Kids Just Want To Have Fun

These are definitely some of our most popuar classes. Kids have fun as they learn to play some of their favourite songs. Instead of forcing kids to play tedious exercises and songs they find uninspiring, we encourage and excite them by teaching the basics of chords, strumming, and reading tablature.

When it comes to playing guitar, desire, is the most important factor for a childs sucess . Our goal is to instill this love for the instrument, and the rest is childs play.

We supply guitars in class. (No guitar lugging necessary).

Guitar playing need not be rocket science, but we also offer more intense courses for those that are looking to take their playing to the next level.

Some of our intermediate to advance classes include Soloing, Chord Melody, Fingerstyle and Tapping. Bass Classes run from the basics to more advanced techniques like Tapping and Pop and Slap. We invite you to try a lesson with us. Call 246-228-2480

Tutors

Andre Donawa is the founder of the Barbados Guitar School. He has released 3 cds featuring guitar and bass and has performed and recorded with local rock group Kite as well as perfoming at The Barbados Jazz Festival. He spent 5 years as the bass instructor for the NCF's YAR program. You can find out more about Andre and his music at andredonawa.com.

Victor Linton has toured and performed with some of the world's top international artist. Billy Ocean, The Real Thing, Five Star, Alison Hinds, Arturo Tappin, and Nicholas Brancker to name a few. He was the guitar tutor for NCF's YAR program, and is very popular with his students for his breadth of guitar know how and down to earth teaching approach.
